Solicitor Suspended
(From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, June 25. Mr B. H. Paton, a solicitor who practised in Christchurch, has been suspended from practice for two years. Notice of the suspension was gazetted this evening. The notice, signed by Mr G. J. Grace, Acting-Registrar of the Supreme Court at Wellington, reads: "Pursuant to the Law Practitioners Act (1955), notice is hereby given that the disciplinary committee of the New Zealand Law Society on May 13 ordered that Bruce Hunter Paton, of Christchurch, barrister and solicitor, be suspended from practice as a barrister or solicitor for a period of two years, and that he pay the sum of 75 guineas costs to the New Zealand Law Society."
