ILLEGAL FLIGHT
Pan Am For Berlin (NJ. frtu Ann.—Copyright) NEW YORK, June 23. A Pan American World Airways jet liner left New York last night for Berlin in spite of a Russian and East German statement that the flight was illegal and that they could not guarantee the plane’s safety in the corridors of East Germany. The plane, scheduled to drop off 87 passengers at two other stops en route, carried 10 passengers bound for Berlin.
