Pitch Was Painted Red

Parts of the pitch at Leeds where England meets Australia in the third test, starting on Thursday, July 2, were painted red by students during the night The Yorkshire County Cricket Club protested to Leeds University,, which 1« holding its “rag” this week, and representatives of the students' union have apologised to the club. The test pitch will now be guarded each night until the match.
