Two players have been drawn ,to play each other in all three events, the singles, pairs, and fours, at the New Zealand indoor bowls championships, in Christchurch—a happening not previously experienced in 16 years of national tournaments.. Statisticians at the championships say the odds against such an occurrence are four million to one. The players, B. Pridham (Auckland) and H. G. C. McLachlan (South Otago), both failed to qualify in the singles.
