Firm Note At Close Of Week’s Trading
Share trading on New Zealand stock- exchanges closed the week on a firm note with both key stocks and second-rank issues showing twice as many rises aS falls on a slightly less active market.
Best gain on the New Zealand list was a 3s rise by Vibrapac Wellington after firming on home market quotation. Charles Begg, Consolidated Plastics and Donaghy, reacting to good company reports, all showed gains. Colonial Sugar Refining gained more ground with a 9d rise to 72s 3d, while British Office Supplies notes added 2s to 325.
