Canterbury representation at the Dunedin Jockey Club’s winter meeting will be the weakest for some years, and Riccarton stables can seldom have had fewer than five runners on a first-day programme.

Rictarton’s five runners for Saturday will be taken south Tomorrow. They are Race Guide and Hullabaloo, which are engaged in "the St Clair Intermediate Handicap, Everglades and Scuffle, acceptors *for the Brighton Improvers', Handicap, and Casstay, which ■ is in the Trial Stakes.
