Vice-Regal Autograph Of all the people the Gov-, ernor-General, Sir Bernard Fergusson, and Lady Fergusson met during their visit to Little River and Akaroa yesterday, Martin Brooks, a pupil at the Little River school, was marked for special attention. Martin had an arm in a plaster cast and, questioned by his Excellency, said that he had broken it while playing at school. “That was too bad,” said his Excellency, and autographed the cast. Morrison) at the Hobsonville base yesterday when they were presented with commendations for outstanding zeal and devotion to duty. The recipients were Warrant Officer R H. Simpson, of Wellington, and Warrant Officer C. L. Anderson and Sergeant V. F. Armstrong, both of Auckland.—(P.A.)
