MAORIS FOR AFRICA
Rugby Problem Says P.M. (N.Z-. Press Association ) WELLINGTON, May 22. He had discussed the question of Maoris touring South Africa with the All Blacks with the chairman of the council of the New Zealand Rugby Union (Mr T. C. Morrison), the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said tonight. Mr Holyoake said he was most heartened by Mr Morrison’s announcement that he felt sure Maoris would be able’ to tour South Africa in 1967. On his return, Mr Morrison said the inclusion of Maoris had been discussed with certain South African Ministers. He said the talks had not been on an official basis. “It’s a Rugby problem,” Mr Holyoake said tonight.
