PACING TITLE

1965 Dates Approved

The late February and early March dates for the 1965 InterDominion Championship series, which will be held by the Forbury Park Trotting Club, have been approved by the executive of the New Zealand Trotting Conference.

The series will be run on Saturday, February 20, Wednesday, February 24, Saturday, February 27, and Wednesday, March 3. The dates have been forwarded to the Inter-Dominion Trotting Conference, and the governing bodies in the various Australian States. No objections are expected from them as the dates are those suggested from Australia. “The question of accommodation in Dunedin is being successfully resolved,” said the secretary of the conference (Mr J. Rowley) yesterday.

A deputation from the Forbury, Park club met a subcommittee of the executive of the conference in Christchurch on Monday when all aspects of the Inter-Dominion Championship series were discussed.
