Industry For Takapau
(N Z. Press Association) WAIPUKURAU, May 7. Probably the smallest town to make the attempt, Takapau, population 500, is making an all-out bid to attract industry. The newly-formed Takapau Development Association is sending out 1000 special brochures as the first stepl In the brochure the association says it is considering offering low interest loans to help prospective industries get started. Low-cost land, low rates, low building costs, room to expand, friendly people, are among the advantages listed.
