49 CHARGES ADMITTED
Burglary, Theft Receiving (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 7. Three men and three youths pleaded guilty to 49 charges involving the theft of property valued at £1421 when they appeared in the Magistrate’s Court at Auckland today. Frederick James Felton, aged 24, a builder, faced 12 charges of receiving, four of burglary and one of theft; George Ernest Wiblin, aged 22, a workman, 14 charges of burglary and 10 of theft; Michael Dean Gibbs, aged 19, a process worker, two of burglary and two of theft; Peter Alexander Wilson, aged 19. a roadmarker, two of burglary; Barry Francis Mangan, aged 22, a cabinet-maker, one of burglary; and Wayne Ross Allott, aged 17, a last maker, one of burglary. Mr J. R. Drummond, S.M., remanded them until May 13, for sentence. Detective Senior-Sergeant |R. C. Anderson said that when Wiblin and Felton were being questioned by detectives. they said: “We have' committed so many crimes ’ during the past two years, that we can’t possibly remember details of all of them.”
