Curfew For Youths

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) MANILA, April 28. Strict enforcement of an ordinance prohibiting persons under 18 from being on Manila streets after 9 p.m., has been ordered with the object of reducing juvenile delinquency. Beginning on May 4, offenders will be arrested and booked in court. Another ordinance prohibits the sale of intoxicating liquor to persons under 21. The curfew hour will be heralded by sirens. Youths exempted from the curfew hours are: Those accompanied by their parents. Those running lawful errands. Those whose nature of work necessitates their stay in the streets after 9 p.m. They will be provided with identification cards by the police.
