JEWELLER MISSING
Wide Police Inquiries (N.Z Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 19. The police are making widespread inquiries for a Warkworth businessman who has been missing for nearly a week He is James Harry Dudfield, aged 21, single, a watchmaker and jeweller, who has his own shop at Warkworth. He is a son of Mr and Mrs S. C. Dudfield, of Avondale. His father said tonight it was possible his son was suffering from loss of memory from the strain of running his business. Spending most week-ends as a student pilot could have added to the strain. He said his son left Papakura last Tuesday to return to Warkworth but did not arrive there. He could have had a considerable sum of money in his possession.
