Champion Side Beaten Darfield. last year’s champion, was beaten by Hororata, 6-3. when the Malvern Rugby Subassociation's club matches began on Saturday. In the early game Kirwee beat Black Diamonds. 6-3. A feature of the games was the manner in which the referees, Messrs R. Stevenson and R. Henderson, carried out the new rulings.
