‘World Is Watching’ (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) AN ANTNAG (Kashmir Valley), April 19. A sheikh, Abdullah, the “Lion of Kashmir” freed last week after 10 years in gaol, said on Friday that “they think of re-arresting me.” But be warned that his re-arrest would not solve the problem of Kashmir. “The world's eyes are on us,” he told an applauding crowd estimated at 100,000 In hls first speech to the Kashmir Valley. “The world is watching us demanding the right of self-determination and challenging India's claim that this right has been exercised.” No Hate He added: "Neither bullets nor repression can make us change our course.” But, he said, “At thia moment of success we should not lose our heads. We must forget our tales of repression. We should have no hate in our hearts. Whatever India does, the world Is watching.”
