Forecast: Canterbury.—Moderate southerlies; cloudy and. cold, with some light showers this morning. Buller and Westland.—Light variable winds; fine, except for some areas of cloud at first, moderate to mild afternoon temperatures. Marlborough.—South-easterly winds, becoming fresh in exposed places; cloudy and rather cool, with a few scattered showers, especially near the coast. Nelson.—Easterlies, fresh in exposed places, elsewhere light; mainly fine but some areas of low cloud or fog at first; moderate to mild day temperatures. Outlook all districts: mainly fine.
