EMPLANING BOARD
New Equipment At Rongotai (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 10. A flight destination board costing £2OOO to be installed at Wellington airport next month is expected to eliminate costly delays to aircraft and to help ensure passengers do not miss their flights. The N.A.C. planned to install the board before Christmas but it is only now on its way from London. The board will display flight numbers and the numbers of the gates through which passengers should pass. Flashing legends will draw passengers' attention to th' need to hurry after final emplaning announcements have been made over the loudspeaker system.
