CAUGHT IN PATEA
(N Z Press Atioeiation) HAWERA, April 10. Two men, believed to have escaped from a mental hospital in *he South Island on April 3, were apprehended at 4.30 a.m today in Patea. The police believe the men arrived in Patea early this.
morning in a car converted from Wellington. It is thought the men ran out of petrol, and tried unsuccessfully to take some from a car belonging to the Palea Hospital Medical Superintendent.
