Wasps Menace To Bellbirds
(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 8. Wasps could be the downfall of the bellbird within 10 years, Mr W. A. Hood told the Lands Committee of the House of Representatives today. The committee is inquiring into aspects of noxious animal control. Mr Hood said wasps took the honey the bellbirds relied on for their winter food.
