Royal Letter

A letter was written to Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, when her visit to New Zealand was cancelled, by Miss E. Neville, editor of Hay’s “Junior Leaguer,” who is known to many Christchurch children as Aunt Haysi.

The letter expressed the sympathy and gobd wishes and expressed the hope that the Queen Mother yould visit New Zealand in the future. Miss Neville has received a reply of thanks from the lady-in-waiting to the Queen Mother (Miss Jean Rankin).
