Z.P..4.-Reuter—Copi/ripht I LONDON, April 7 Manchester United last night kept alive its slim hopes of winning the English first divis ion soccer championship with a 1-0 win over Aston Villa Manchester now moves above Everton on goal average into second place behind Liverpool Both have 49 points from 39 games. Liverpool leads with 52 points from 37 matches. Results:— English League Division One.—Chelsea 1, Leicester City 0 (postponed April 4); Manchester United 1, Aston Villa 0. Division Two. —Leyton Orient 2, Sunderland 5. Division Three.—Mansfield 1. Watford 1: Port Vale 2. Queens Park Rangers 0 (postponed January 25). Division Four.—Chesterfield 1. Rochdale 1; Hartlcpools United 1. Newport County 1; York City 3, Darlington 1.
