The Oxford district is rich in history and probably no building is more so than the Harewood Arms Hotel, one of the two hotels in the town. Built of timber from the former Oxford forest, the hotel will be 100 years old this year. In the early days of the settlement, some East Oxford organisations and citizens’ groups held meetings there.
