It seemed tonight that for want of light-weight riders Mali Peter, Wilful, Marendellas and Miss Eunice might hare to miss the Easter Handicap at Ellerslie tomorrow. The scarcity of lightweight riders is a result, mainly, of the Rotorua Racing Club’s meeting having attracted a big number of apprentices.
