Not Bormann’s Brother (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SAO PAULO (Brazil), March 21. A man who claimed to be a brother of Martin Bormann, Hitler's deputy, admitted at Sao Paulo today that he had falsified his identity.. A few minutes before he was to take a lie detector test, he identified himself as Richard Rolnik. He had called himself Richard Bormann. He said he had invented his story about being a brother of Martin Bormann because he wanted to alert public opinion and hoped his story would increase the rate of prosecution of Nazi criminals “who are also responsible for the deaths of my whole family, of which 1 am the only survivor.” Police said they were checking Rolnik’s real identity and background. He was remaining in custody tonight. Police said they might give him more psychological tests. Earlier, police doctors said such tests had shown that he was sane and above normal intelligence. In West Germany, members of the Bormann family said there was no brother named Richard. Albert Bormann said in Munich that he was Martin Bormann’s only brother.
