HEREDITY
(N.Z.P.A. -Reuter—Copyright) MEXICO CITY. The popular notion that sons of criminals inherit their parents’ tendencies is false, according to Dr. S. O. Albornoz, winner of the Nobel Prize for medicine. Dr. Albornoz has reproduced in test tubes the exact mechanism operating in human beings in the transmission of hereditary traits from parents to children. The experiment was called “Biosynthesis of the Ribonucleic Acid.” The doctor said that criminal traits depend mainly on the environment in which the individual develops. This environment could transform his Inherited character.—(Reuter.)
