AEROPLANE WRECKAGE

Parts Washed Up On Beach (N.Z. Press Association) GREYMOUTH, March 23. Aeroplane wreckage, thought to be part of a Cessna belonging to West Coast Airways, Ltd., of Hokitika, which crashed into the sea at Green’s Beach, 30 miles south of Hokitika, on February 7, was found washed up on the beach between the New river and the Tarmakau river about 6 p.m. yesterday. Police said the wreckage, part of a cabin door and other fuselage pieces, had been in the water for some time. The Cessna was piloted by Mr Geoffrey Meldrum Houston, aged 28, of Hokitika, who was killed in the crash.
