Kennedy Fund May Reach £15,000

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 20. The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said today that the John F. Kennedy Memorial Fund Appeal would close at the end of this month, but any contributions sent to him after this date would be gratefully received. The appeal opened in mid-December. “There is a good chance that public contributions to the fund will match and perhaps exceed the £15,000 initial contribution made by the government,” Mr Holyoake said.
