Support For Goldwater
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SAN FRANCISCO, March 16. Senator Barry Goldwater won the endorsement of the 14,000-member California Republican Assembly as its presidential nominee at Fresno, California, last night.
The vote came after a fourhour deadlock. Backers of Governor Rockefeller of New York immediately left the convention floor.
