SOUTH MAY BENEFIT

Publicity From Trotting (N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, Mar. 16. Tourist publicity for New Zealand, and particularly for the South Island, could follow a visit to Dunedin by a number of American journalists for the inter-Dominion trotting championships to be held in the city early next year. Back from a visit to Melbourne for the 1964 championship series, Mr A. H. Finnic, president of the Forbury Park Trotting Club, said that he had been assured that a party of six to eight journalists would accompany Mr M. Tananbaum, president of Yonkers Raceway, New York. While they are in Dunedin it is planned to arrange visits to Mount Cook, Queenstown, Milford and other tourist attractions for the journalists.
