FRUITGROWERS’ FEDERATION
New General Manager Mr A. C. Greer has been appointed by the New Zealand Fuitgrowers’ Federation to succeed the general manager, Mr A. Osborne, who recently retired after 40 years’ service. Mr Greer joined the federation at Wellington in 1932
and after serving from 1941 to 1946 in the Army and Air Force was appointed manager of the federation’s Christchurch branch. Four years later he was transferred to head office, Wellington, as general sales manager and in 1958 he was appointed assistant general manager. Mr Greer has been the New Zealand fruit industry’s representative on the Agricultural Chemicals Board since its inception.
