TALKS ON DIABETES

N.Z. Doctor To Be Sent (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 15. New Zealand will be represented officially at the fifth congress of the International Diabetes Federation. The congress will meet in Toronto between July 20 and 24, 1964. The national secretary of the Diabetic Association of New Zealand (Mr J. S. Reid) said his association had been fortunate to receive an offer of the services of Dr. Laughton Miles, of Christchurch. Dr. Miles Is a senior research fellow in the medical research unit at Princess Margaret Hospital. He had arranged to undertake further research into insulin with Professor Young, of Cambridge.
