Safe Conditions Sought

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 12. If safety precautions on local building sites are not stepped up, unions concerned may have to advise their members not to work in dangerous places, Mr G. Wallace, organiser of the Engineering Union in Auckland, said today. After a recent meeting of the Combined Building Trades Unions Committee a letter will be sent today to various employers* associations stating the committee’s views.
