Continuing Steady Tone In Trading
Trading on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday continued to follow a steady trend, but the market was dull and a most featureless. Key New Zealand stocks were firm, but overseas leaders eased. . -9= £. ritis L?J d shares ’ UP at 53s 6d, and the B shares, up 9d a ‘- •’ ♦i# consec utive rise. Lane Walker also advanced with a 6d rise to 18s 9d. r oj Overseas issues showed a weaker trend, with Feltex down 5d at f S r r Al ? po1 at , 9s 2d and E - Z - at 17s 6d both lost 4d, and B.H.P. and 1.C.1.A.N.Z. each eased 9d.
