INTERNATIONALLY FAMOUS FASHION AUTHORITY TO COMPERE FASHION PARADES
Barbara Permezel is a well known Australian fashion coordinator and compere. Particularly well known in Melbourne where she lives with her daughter and two sons. Mrs Permezel was formerly Fashion Co-ordinator for the Australian Wool Board and the Myer Emporium. She has done much work for radio broadcasting and has several times presented the Australian “Gown of the Year” parades. In private life as a housewife, Mrs Permezel enjoys the company of her teenage children in the quiet Melbourne suburb of East Malvern. “In the hustle and bustle of the type of work I am engaged in, I find it im-, perative to lead a quiet normal private life completely divorced from the World of Fashion” says Barbara in a pleasant Australian accent. However, I thoroughly enjoy my work and wouldn’t trade it for anything else.”
Barbara is on her own now doing fashion compering and co-ordinating on a free lance basis. P.B.A.
