Biscuit Prices
The wholesale price of biscuits charged by the main manufacturer has been increased by Id a pound for plain sweet biscuits, to 2d a pound for chocolate and fancy biscuits. It was incorrectly reported on Tuesday that these increases applied to half-pound quantities as sold in packets. Some varieties of biscuits such as crackers which do not contain sugar have not been increased in price.
