Unwanted Foreigners

Sir, —After reading the interview with Mrs A. Bell, who has lived all her life in Rangoon, I can readily understand her views about foreigners not being wanted. This is indeed made clear after reading the well-known book, “Letters of an Indian Judge to an English Gentlewoman,” first published in 1934 and reprinted no less than 11 times since, with a foreword by Arvind Nehru. —Yours, etc., TRY TO UNDERSTAND. February 28, 1964.
