FULBRIGHT SCHOLARS

Three Arrive From U.S. (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, February 28. Three American Fulbright scholars arrived at Auckland in the Oronsay today. They are:— Dr. T. J. Cotter, a physical chemist at the Los Angeles Scientific Laboratory, New Mexico, who will work in the department of chemistry at Canterbury University. Dr. J. D. Kemp, professor of animal science at the University of Kentucky, who will do research into sheep at Massey College. Mr D.- Karrig, a geology student who gained his M.Sc. at the Colorado School of Mines and will. do post-gra-duate research at Victoria University, Wellington. Rubbish Fire,—A rubbish fire on property occupied by Mr L. Willem, 87 Bayview road, was put out by the Sumner Volunteer Fire Brigade at 7.50 pun. yesterday.
