UNLOADED FISH
Snapper Main Catch (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 17. Fish unloaded fnom the damaged Japanese mother ship, Kaiko Maru No. 15, at Shelly Bay today, appeared to be mainly snapper. More than 80 tons of fish is being unloaded to go under bond into cold storage as the import of fish into New Zealand is prohibited. The fish cargo is being unloaded so that the interior of the ship can be inspected. The vessel was badly damaged when it struck rocks or a reef in the Bay of Plenty area recently.
