R.S.A. Tribute To Bishop

The death of the Very Rev. E. M. Joyce, Roman Catholic Bishop of Christchurch, had been a sad blow to the Returned Services’ Association as well as to the community, said Mr A. S. Farrar, president of the Christchurch R.S.A., to the executive meeting on Monday evening. As a returned serviceman.

Bishop Joyce had taken a full part in the R.S.A. and for some time had been a memtier of the committee of the Riccarton sub-branch, Mr Farrar said.
