N.Z. Soccer Tour
(From the London Correspond-: ent of “The Press”) j No-one really expects that the first New Zealand national association football team to make a world tour will have any earth-shak-ing impact on soccer in Britain, and the Football Association in London has not been, besieged with inquiry. "We are hoping that when the time comes for the New Zealand team to come to England,” said an official of the Football Association, “there may be some sign of encouragement for the matches that are to be played, because we feel that the New Zealand team will be deserving of some support "We are further hoping to make the two games they are to play here as attractive as possible, so as ta draw as many spectators as we can, but to what extent the games will attract spectator interest is something best described as an unknown quantity.” .
