First Meeting In Christchurch The National Roads Board will hold its normal monthly meeting in Christchurch on the evening of February 24. This will be the first time the board has met in the South Island, and is thought to be the first time it has met outs.de Wellington. On the next day the board will go to the Hermitage, and will spend Wednesday, February 26, in the Waimate and Timaru areas of the No. 15 District Roads Council’s territory before returning to Christchurch on February 27 for the official opening of the Christchurch-Lyttelton road
