Young Farmer On Exchange

(from the London Correspondent of “The Press"} LONDON, Feb. 10. A young Scottish fanner, Andrew Logan, of Dairsie Mains, Cupar, Fife, will sail for New Zealand in the Canberra from Southampton on

April 5 under an international exchange scheme. Mr Logan, who is 24 and unmarried, is a member of the Scottish Association of Young Farmers’ Clubs. He farms in partnership with his father a 500-acre dairyarable farm. They milk 80 pedigree Ayrshire cows, and grow sugar beet, potatoes, barley, and wheat. A former student at Edinburgh Agricultural College, Mr Logan is at present chairman of the Bell-Baxter Agricultural Discussion Society. He plays Rugby football and fives and enjoys ski-ing.
