Canterbury Junior Tennis Seedings

One hundred and ninety players have entered for the Canterbury junior tennis championships, to be held at Wilding Park from January 29 to February 1. This is 30 less than last year when the tournament was held the week before the New Zealand junior championships in Christchurch. Representatives of every South Island association have entered although as yet there are no North Island entrants. Southland has 30 players. A. Brooks, the Auckland junior champion, has been seeded first, ahead of the South Island champion, R. McCutcheon. Last year McCutcheon beat Brooks in the final of this tournament.
