RECORD 1390 ENTRIES
Banks Peninsula Show A record total of 1390 entries has been received for the Banks Peninsula Agricultural and Pastoral Show to be held on Saturday, February 1. This is seven more entries than for the jubilee show in 1962 and 123 more than for last year’s show. Figures for indiivdual sections with 1963 figures in parenthesis are:—Sheep, 248 (198); horses, 711 (588); domestic produce, 117 (98); dogs, 14 (16); industrial, 135 ( 83); photographic, 97 (123). Total entries for 1962 were 1167 and for 1962, 1383. Entries for this year’s fruit and vegetable sections will remain open until a few days before the show.
