CAMPAIGN IN NELSON

Anti-T.B. And Lung Cancer A mass tuberculosis and lung-cancer X-ray survey of the Nelson district will be held by the Department of Health from February to May. when the Christchurch mobile unit of the department’s X-ray service will visit the area. The unit will leave Christchurch on February 3 for the Royal New Zealand Air Force station, Woodbourne, where it will spend three days. The next week it will be at the Ngawhatu Hospital at Stoke, Nelson. The public section of the itinerary starts on February 17 at Upper Moutere. from where the unit will move towards Motueka and cover country districts in general before starting in Nelson City. The campaign in Nelson is due to end on May 18, after which a survey will be carried out in Marlborough.
