Club Seeking Vacant Dates
(From Our Own Reporter) WESTPORT, January 24. The Westport Jockey Club has applied to the New Zealand Racing Conference to take Over the dates vacated by the Greymouth club which will not be able to race again this season because the track needs repairs, Mr J. Craig, president of the Westport club, said today that an application to race on May 9 and 11 had been made to the conference to retain all fixtures granted to the West Coast area.
