Egypt Still Bans ‘Cleopatra’

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) CAIRO, January 23. Film star Elizabeth Taylor ■was still blacklisted and her movies banned in Egypt because of her “pro-Zionist sympathies,” an Egyptian movie industry spokesman said today. He said rumours that the ban on the film “Cleopatra” had been lifted ■were unfounded. The spokesman added: “The film includes many historical inaccuracies ana, moreover, Miss Taylor plays the leading role in it.”
