Irishman Leading Car Rally

Press Assn.—-Copyright) MONTE CARLO, January 23 Paddy Hopkirk, a 30-year-old Belfast driver, should clinch the 1964 Monte Carlo rally when when the 120 leading crews race on the Grand Prix circuit today, says Reuter's Sports Editor, Vernon Morgan. Hopkirk, In a Morris Cooper, enters the speed tnal with a lead of more than 31 points on his nearest rival, Erik Carlaeon, of Sweden, driving a Saab, who won in 1962 and 1963.
