Three Clubs Hold Sprint Cycling Championships

The three local amateur cycling clubs—Papanui, Avon, and Christchurch—began their championship events at English Park last night. The senior and junior 500metre sprints were decided and in all finals, which were on’the best two out of three, the third run was not required as each title was won in two straight sprints.
