General W. F. McKee, vicechief of staff of the United States Air Force, will arrive in New Zealand for a goodwill visit on Sunday. He will land at Ohakea and he and his party will be flown to Wellington by the R.N.Z.A.F.- (PA.) Commander L. C. Knowles. United States Naval Attache in New Zealand, has retired and will return to his home in Seattle, Washington, today. He began his service in New Zealand in 1959. He was liaison officer between the American Embassy and Admiral G. J. Dufek, then commander of United States Antarctic expedition. He was appointed naval attache in 1960.—(PA..) Dr. S. W. P. Milams has been appointed to succeed Dr. G. Blake-Palmer as director of mental health. Dr. Mirams has been deputydirector since 1952.—(PA.) The New South Wales Minis ter of Justice, Mr MAnniy, has not time to visit the South Island during his week-long New Zealand tour and will concentrate on inspecting North Island penal institutions.— (F.O.OJL). #
